Planning a Party in the Bowling Lane

Bowling is one activity that can be enjoyed by anyone. It’s a very simple sport and it takes place in a controlled environment where everyone can have fun. That is why a party in the bowling lane is good way to celebrate any occasion. It’s applicable for kids and adults will surely love hanging out in a bowling lane with friends.

Starting the Plan through Reservations

The popularity of parties celebrated in bowling lanes is no strange idea to the owners and administrators of these business establishments. This makes it easier since most bowling lanes already have a package that would fit to any occasion. When talking to the owner or manager about the party, anticipate the following:

  • Deposit
  • Number of lanes that can be rented
  • Number of hours and time in the bowling lane
  • Number of guests in the bowling lane

Don’t worry if you can’t have the actual number of guests because no one will be denied in the bowling lane. Just anticipate extra charges per head. What you should make sure is the number of hours in the bowling lane so that everyone will arrive on time and experience a full game.

Food Packages and Preparation

If the bowling lane of your choice is a bit far from your house, it’s better to ask the bowling lane if they also offer meal packages. Don’t expect fancy foods though, most of the foods they offer are pizza, hotdogs, burgers, sodas and probably beer. This should also be the food you’ll have to prepare in case the lane is just a few minutes drive from home. Prepare lots of sodas, pizzas and hotdogs as part of the party. If there’s a birthday celebrant, make sure it’s never forgotten by including a cake and some party hats. It’s a simple preparation but it will be fun because of the activities in the bowling lane.

But don’t just limit the fun on simply playing games. You can have a friendly competition or at least have some unique bowling games such as “wackiest shot of the night.” Prepare some awards to make it more memorable for the guests.

Cleaning Up and Final Bill

After the party, immediately clean-up or take care of the things you bought for the party. Talk to the manager or the owner on additional payments. This doesn’t only ensure your party ends well; you have also taken cared of the bill once and for all.
